Hi! I’m Ivy.
Born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico and raised in Florida in a bilingual family. I began photographing professionally when I chose to go back and finish college. I switched majors to follow my first love, photography. It’s always difficult to work full-time, raise a family full-time and go to school full-time. In no way was it easy, and many times, (many, many times) I just wanted to quit. The overwhelming feeling that failure was right around every corner was enough to make me want to stay in bed for days on end. However, I have been very fortunate to have a family and circle of friends that support and pushed me forward when I thought I couldn’t keep going. I wouldn’t be the woman I am today, nor would my business be as successful as it is today, was it not for them.
With over 10 years of professional photography experience, I can say that I’ve captured a very wide variety of images. I have photographed everything from dance competitions to corporate events. Images that capture the first days of life to the last. It was through these experiences that I fell hard for the wide range of human emotions, the strongest of those, of course, being love. I have become obsessed with capturing love and the passion that fuels it. Those quiet moments that seem to disappear in an instant, but have left an eternal imprint in your soul.
